Mission Statement:
Dr. MacIsaac aims at integrating conventional medical approaches with more traditional approaches, such as nutrition, herbs, homeopathy, bioidentical hormone therapy, and lifestyle modification, to obtain a comprehensive customized treatment for each patient. The goal is to engage the patient in understanding his/her own body, and teach how to approach maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Training and Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biomedical Ethics from Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island 1979. Degree in medicine, Boston University School of Medicine, 1983. Surgical internship and residency at Boston University Hospital,1983-85. General surgery and trauma training. Transferred to Florida in 1985. Ultimately specializing in Head and Neck Surgery. Served as Chief Resident at University of South Florida in the Department of Head and Neck Surgery in 1987. Entered active duty with the US Air Force, 1987. Served as staff and then as head of the Department of Head and Neck Surgery at Keesler AFB, MS, 1987 -1990. Deployed for Desert Storm in 1990; set up contingency hospital, Fairfield, England, January - March 1990. Served in Department of Head and Neck Surgery, Weisbaden Hospital, Germany, September 1990 - 1992. Served at Combined Service Hospital, Landstuhl, Germany, 1992 - 1995, Department of Head and Neck Surgery, active during Bosnian effort. Chief of Department of Head and Neck Surgery, McDill AFB, 1995 - 1997. Completed Flight Surgeon's Training, Brooke Army Institute in 1996. Started private practice, Head and Neck Surgery, Tampa, Florida 1997 - 1998. Attended Florida Institute of Chinese Medicine, student 1997 - 1998. Completed British Institute of Homeopathy Correspondence Course, 1997 - 1999. Fully modified medical practice to Integrative Medicine, 1999. Discontinued surgical practice of Head and Neck Surgery in order to focus on preventative approach to wellness. Commenced study of new field of "anti-aging medicine" 1999. Membership in American College for the Advancement of Medicine (ACAM), commenced 1998 to present. Membership of American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine; candidate for Fellowship in Anti-Aging Medicine and Board Certification in Anti-Aging Medicine 2007.
