What to do after you complete HCG diet regime successfully

Adhering to any diet is not easy for obese individuals and many of them fail to adhere to the required food and lifestyle restrictions. For those who follow HCG diet, this can prove to be tougher. If you manage to complete the home based weight loss diet successfully and attain slimmer physique eventually that is great. However, it is also important that you know how to maintain your new improved figure and keep the lost weight at bay. If you revert to your previous lifestyle and eat without caution, the weight loss may not last for a long time.

Even after you complete the diet, it is important that you give your body adequate time to adjust to changing food intake habits. It would not be good to eat lots of fatty foods and high calorie dishes immediately after completing HCG diet. You can start eating carb enriched foods and sugary foods but with caution. Gradually include such foods in your meals instead of getting into an overdrive. You can use oil in making foods but try to use cooking oils that do not generate or contain harmful trans-fat.

It would be a good idea to start eating foods enriched with healthy fats. Eat plenty of foods that are rich in healthy Omega 3 fatty acids, particularly fish variants. Refrain from eating cola for some time and intake plenty of water on a daily basis. It would be a prudent idea to keep a tab on your weight during this phase. Buy organic fruits and produce as far as possible and stay away from processed foods and snacks as far as possible. Try fresh fruits and vegetables instead of those alluring fast foods like pasta, pizza and burgers for some days after diet completion

It would be a good idea to stat exercise in this phase. During HCG diet, hardcore exercise is not recommended as doing so can make you exhausted easily and increase craving for foods However, when the diet regime is over, you can start working out and this will help in toning up your body post weight loss.
