On the contrary, you can try adding herbs and spices to dishes while you are on this diet. Herb Omelet

This dish can be used in last phase of HCG diet. The dish requires usage of several ingredients. You will need to use red bell peppers sliced, green onions, minced garlic, 10 melba toast pieces, Coconut Oil. Other ingredients needed include cottage cheese, 8 egg whites, 3 eggs, fresh and minced basil, parsley, chives, rosemary, fat-free milk.

To make the dish, pre heat oven for some minutes at 350 degrees. Heat the oil in a pan and add scallions and pepper in it. Then add garlic to it and add sauté briefly. Now, keep the toast in a big casserole dish. Blend rest of the ingredients and pour egg on top of the toasts. Then add the sauted vegetables and able for at least 20 minutes.

Baked Tilapia with Herbs

To make this dish for phase 2 of HCG diet, you will need 1 pond tilapia, lemon juice, herbs like parsley, dill, thyme, basil and oregano. You will also have to use black pepper and salt as per taste. At first, preheat the oven at 375 degrees temperature. Season the fish with pepper and salt and then pour lemon juice over it. Now, sprinkle the herbs in desired amounts on top of the fish. Thereafter, you need to place the fish in foil packets and put in baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes or so. Before serving the dish, decorate with chopped parsley.

Herb Rubbed Steaks with Mushrooms Provencal

To make this delicious dish, you will need beef tenderloin steak 6 ounce. You will also need extra-virgin olive oil, bay leaves, diced mushrooms, chopped tomatoes and white wine. Crush 1 bay leaf and keep the other as whole. First of all, rub steak with olive oil and then sprinkle crushed bay leaves. Then keep the steaks on a glass baking dish. Cover and put it in refrigerator for a few hours. Next, scrape the bay leaves from the steaks and sprinkle pepper and salt on them. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Thereafter, cook the steaks carefully on each side. Now, put them on a plate. Pour white wine to skillet and boil. Then add mushrooms to it and sauté. Add ingredients like tomatoes and bay leaf. It will turn to sauce like consistency in a few minutes. Add the steaks to skillet and cook briefly. Before serving, sprinkle mushrooms over the steaks.
