Know The 4 Phases of HCG Diet


HCG weight loss diet protocol is consisted of 4 phases. These phases are elaborated in Linda Prinster’s “HCG Weight Loss Cure Guide” and Kevin Trudeau’s – “The Weight Loss Cure They Don’t Want You to Know About”.

Lets’ have a look at the 4 phases of HCG.

Phase 1 – 2 Gorge Days:

The first phase of HCG diet refers to the two day gorge period. You need to start taking the HCG drop three times a day. You should take 10 drops 30 minutes prior to your meals. Make sure you hold the drops for 2 – 5 minutes under your tongue. Make sure not to drink anything 15 minutes before or after you take the drop. During this phase you can eat anything you wish. The only thing to remember is that you should focus on fat and not on sugar. This will save you from any hunger pangs in the second phase.

Phase 2 – VLCD:

HCG drop itself doesn’t help you to loose weight. It is only possible if you follow the 500 calorie diet routine. Switch to very low calorie diet on the 3rd day. Take tea or coffee without sugar in the breakfast. One tablespoon of milk is allowed throughout the day. For lunch and dinner you can have 100 grams of chicken breast, lobster, fresh white fish, crab or beef. One type vegetable such as tomato, onion, spinach, chicory, beet, chard, cucumbers, cabbage should be included in the diet and two Melba toasts can be eaten.

Phase 3 – 3 Weeks of Maintenance:

In this phase you need to maintain the 500 calorie diet for the first three days. During the 3rd phase you will stop the intake of HCG drops. For the following 3 weeks you should eat 2000 calorie diet per day. But your diet should exclude starch and sugar. During this phase you will have to opt for more workouts.

Phase 4 – Lifestyle Change:

In the last phase you need to change your lifestyle. Slowly introduce starch and sugar in your diet. But don’t overdo them. Maintain a balanced diet and go for regular exercise.

Following these four phases properly will give you the desired result.
