HCG Diet – How Does Phase I Help

What is the objective of the first phase of HCG diet? To understand this, you need to get a clear idea about what elements this phase incorporates. Talk to your diet doctor and get his advice to know how to undergo this phase. Here are a few pointers applicable for all dieters during this.

HCG Diet Phase 1

Include high calorie food items like fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, cereals, and such others in your diet. However, this does not mean gorging on hamburgers and ice creams. Opt for healthy carbohydrates, proteins, fats, and all other nutrients.

Divide your daily food intake into a number of portions. Do not have two full meals; instead, choose to have five or six meals of smaller proportions. Snack on apples, grapefruit and such healthy alternatives.

Go for a walk for an hour on a daily basis. In no circumstance should you avoid this. However, do not overexert yourself. Go for a leisurely walk; just make sure you walk for about an hour.

Increase your daily intake of water. Just after you wake up in the morning, have one glass of water. Drink at least a gallon of water daily. Also, include green tea, chamomile tea, and such other drinks.

Refrain from monosodium glutamate, fast foods, artificial sweeteners, high fructose corn syrup and such others. Choose organic foods, meat and dairy products, natural sweeteners and such options instead.

You would also need to go for cleansing procedures to get rid of the toxins in your body. Get adequate sleep (8-10 hours), do exercise and yoga, relax and meditate, go for saunas, and incorporate such other elements into your daily routine.

Doing all this during phase one of HCG diet would help you store up on necessary nutrients, get a higher metabolism rate and rid your body of toxins. This would prepare your body for the next phase of the very low calorie diet.
