Bored with tea and coffee – try out these drinks for dieters


Are you bored with the same old unsweetened tea and coffee when on diet? HCG diet restricts your daily food and drink intake drastically. However, this does not mean that you have to stick to a monotonous regime. Here are a few diet drinks that could help break the monotony of following the dictates of your doctor.

Drink for Dieters

Tangy Lemonade – squeeze the juice of one lemon in one-quart water. Mix sweetener as per your tastes. Add ice cubes. Pour into a tall glass, garnish with a lemon wedge and serve chilled.

Strawberry Drink – mix one-quart water, lemon juice (from one lemon) and adequate sweetener. Add crushed strawberries and ice cubes. Pour into a tall glass, garnish with a strawberry slice and serve chilled.

Iced Green Tea – boil water and soak green tea bags in it. For a twist, opt for flavored teas. Remove the bags, pour out the tea into glasses and fill the rest with plain water. Add lemon juice and sweetener. Serve chilled.

Flavored Coffee – put hot water in a big coffee mug. Soak a flavored tea bag (you can choose mint, raspberry, or any other flavor you like). Remove the tea bag. Add coffee, sweetener and milk to this mix.

Spiced Tea – pour hot water into a cup. Soak in a tea bag (spiced flavor) in the water. Remove it. Mix sweetener as per your taste and one tablespoonful of milk. Enjoy the hot cup of spiced tea.

While you are on a diet, you may stick to the same old boring food and drinks, which are sure to lead to monotony and rule breakage, or use your innovation to create unique flavors.
